The no tables thing is all me, but the graceful degredation on the Javascript is a result of the fine coding work in <a href="http://www.varal.org/media/imageswitcher/index.html" rel="nofollow">imageswitcher</a>. I would definitely use it again for an image browser. It's well coded, flexible and the interaction was exactly what I was looking for. All that said, Maggie and I have been updating the site, so it'll probably look a little different very soon. It'll probably never be "done." Thanks! I was most impressed, besides the books, by the subtle technical aspects. 1) JS-disabled still looks good for the photo galleries 2) no tables, anywhere! These books look like the perfect christmas gift for my still-living-in-the-midwest mother.
